How to Add Images in your App on AlphaApp Platform

AlphaApp platform is easy to use and allows you to customize your app as you please. Make it unique, make it pop up among the multitude of apps available in the world right now. Add the images you want to use in your app, all in the same place, in order to be easier when the right moment comes.

1. Be sure to Log In

You need to sign in to continue, so write your email address and the Password you established for your account. In case you forgot your password, here is How to Reset your AlphaApp Password.

If you don’t have an account, please register now. Here is the tutorial that will help you Register on AlphaApp.

2. Go to My Apps and click on the app you want to work on

After you chose the app, click on the Manage button.

3. Click the Images tab on the main menu.

You will have here all the media (pictures & drawables) you have added to your app so far.

Also, this is the place where you can upload the photos you wish to add to your pages any time later.

This way you won’t have to make the uploads on each separate page, and all of them will be organized in one single place.

4. Start adding images

Now, click on Add image button in order to upload the images you want to have in your app.

In this pop-up that will appear, you can choose to add a New image or an image From another app, check the box if your image is a Drawable, and then click on the Upload button. Choose the image from your computer, or from a different source.

Adding Tags will help you organize and pick the images later, and create an order. Add tags that are very suggestive for the content and the place you will use that image. You can add as many tags as you wish.

If you want to save the image click on Add image button, if not, on the Cancel one. Then start the process all over again, for as many images as you please.

If your image is drawable and you checked the box, a different pop-up will appear.

Here you can format the text (by choosing Font, Size, Style, Color, Background color, insert a link, image and HTML code).

Adding the Image Name is mandatory. Also, don’t forget to add Tags that will be of use later in the process.

If you want to save the image click on Add image button, if not, on the Cancel one. Then start the process all over again, for as many images as you please.

When you choose an image From another app a pop-up will open and will contain all the images you have used in your apps developed with AlphaApp platform.

Here you can Add image button by clicking on the image itself. If you don’t want to add any of them click on the Cancel button.

5. How to Delete an image

If there will be images you want to delete completely from your pages and from the images list, go to the Images tab on the menu, and click on the red Recycling bin near the image (you will find it in the list of images on the left).

A pop-up will appear that will ask you to Confirm if you want to delete the item. If you are not sure you want to remove it permanently, you can leave the image here and delete it only from the page of the app. This way you can decide later to remove it permanently or not.

Please note that deleting an image from an app page will not automatically delete it from the Images in your app. To permanently delete it, you have to do the action described at no 5. all the way to the end. Also, if you permanently delete an image you will not be able to see it in your other apps as an image used in a previous one.
