How to Create the Products Pages for your App

Products is a free feature available when you build your own app in AlphaApp builder.

Pictures, descriptions, and prices of Products known in advance will certainly help a customer make up his mind and want to visit in person.

First of all, be sure to Log In. Click on the Products under All Pages, while in App pages in the menu.

If the page does not appear there, you have to click on Add Pages and select the Products page.

Save it by clicking the Add Pages button. Then go back to All Pages and select the Products page in order to start adding info to it.

Now, take the time to add the specific info on all the fields on PAGE DETAILS tab. Add the mandatory Page Name, and Page Title, as well as the Page Description and Page Icon.

View all icons and choose the page’s icon. Click on the one you want to use and Save.

Choose the Active/Inactive Page Status.

Choose the page Visibility here as follow, Always Visible, Limited Visibility or Visible After Login.

Choose the Notification Settings. Here you can select or edit a template for emails. Also, here you can add the emails you want in this notification list.

Select the layout screen for your app page.

Choose Special Availability in case you have products that should be available only in certain conditions.

Add a background image.

If there are some files you want to link to this page, you can do it here, in Developer Options.

If you wish to delete this page from your app, you can do it by clicking Delete this Page.

Now, go to the PRODUCTS tab and start adding the products one at the time by clicking the Add Product button.

If you will want more products on your app you can always come back and add them here.

Add PRODUCT DETAILS and pay special attention to the mandatory fields. Complete General Info with Name, SKU, Weight, and Product Description.

Add Pricing either by Amount (Price / Stock) or by Free Text (Price Text).

Let the customers know if the item is on sale or not.

Then, you can Save the info added, go to the Previous, Next, or Cancel.

If the item is on sale and you drag the button to Yes, you have to select one of the Sale Percentage or Sale Price, and the app will calculate the other one.

Upload the one or more Photos for the item.

There is the possibility to add more Additional Information for this item, like Info Text, Info URL (if the case), Video URL (if the case).

This info is not mandatory but can be very useful to your customers, so take the time to add as much info as you have.

If you want to add Product Tags here is the place. Go to Manage Tags and check the tags you want to have on the item. You can have multiple tags on each item.

If you want to Add Tag enter the tag name. It will appear in the list that can be checked for each appropriate item.

The tags will help you organize your products and will help your customers find the products they are looking for much easier. So, add as many as you can think of and tag the products with their help.

When your list of tags is done do not forget to Save it.

Create the Share Button Behavior by adding the Landing Page and the Share Text you want to be displayed when sharing.

If there are some files you want to link to this page, you can do it here, in Developer Options.

Don’t forget to save the product created by clicking the Save button.

If you wish to delete this product from your app, you can do it by clicking Cancel.

Go to the EXTRAS by clicking the Next button. Here you can add extra products by clicking on the Add New.

The process will be the same as the one for adding a product. Just don’t forget to Save before closing the window.

If you want to go to the CUSTOM FEATURES tab on the menu click on the Next button (after saving what you have done so far).

Here you can Add features to your item or Import some custom features.

If you want to go to the AVAILABILITY tab on the menu click on the Next button (after saving what you have done so far).

Check the location where the item is available in stock.

Then click Save to see the list with the products you have so far, or Cancel if you don’t want to save the info.

Add as many products as you have by clicking Add Product and making the process as described before.

Here you can find specific products by typing the Filter you want to search them by.

See the Collapsed/Expanded list of products as you add the products.

The Filter search can be done by Min or Max Price, Sale or not, Min or Max Stock, just choose the way you want it.

Don’t forget to click on the Filter button or Cancel.

You can add extra products by going to the EXTRAS tab on the menu and click on the Add Extra. The process will be the same as the one for adding a product. Just don’t forget to Save before closing the window.

Choose the filters by clicking the Filter button. If you want to create a new list of filters click on Clear all Filters button.

When all your products are added don’t forget to save the pages created by clicking the Save Page button up on the right.
